The elastomeric tube which, when stored, is placed on a spiral plastic cord. This cord is removed during installation. Made of durable rubber, the tube has high dielectric characteristics (25 kV/mm) and is resistant to fungi, acids and alkalis. It has a high shrinkage coefficient, which allows it to be used in a wide range of cable size.

• Shrinkage of the tube is carried out without special tools, by removing the spiral plastic cord after installing the tube at the place cable splice.
• Shrinking the tube does not require the use of a gas burner or a heat blower.
• After shrinkage, due to the constant radial pressing of the tube on the cable jacket, reliable sealing of the splice is ensured.

• Primary electrical insulation when splice wires and cables for voltages up to 600 V.
• Protective jacket low-voltage and medium-voltage cables.
