AVB MINING TAPE type 23 (38mm х 9m х 0.76mm)

The self-fusing splicing tape is based on ethylene propylene rubber. This shelf-stable tape has excellent electrical properties. It can be used to insulate splice at both low and high voltages up to 69,000 V.

• Compatible with all solid dielectrics used in cable insulation: low and high density polyethylene, cross-linked polyethylene, polyvinyl chloride, ethylene propylene rubber, etc.
• Resistant to corona discharge and short-term temperature increases up to + 130°C.
• To obtain the effect of vulcanization, when winding the tape should be tensioned so that its width becomes 1/2 of the original.

• Primary electrical insulation when connecting wires and cables operating at voltages from 600V to 69 kV, made of solid dielectrics;
• Insulation of splicing and terminating high-voltage cables;
• Insulation of low-voltage and high-voltage buses;
• End seal of high-voltage cables;
• Sealing of electrical connections.
